The "Construction, Wood Technology and Pre-School Education" course is one of several offered by the ŠOLSKI CENTER high school in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, which we had the pleasure of hosting at ICA Academy.

The course trains young people in woodworking techniques, develops their ability to build objects and offers on-the-job experiences to get a first-hand insight into the working environment.

In our Academy, in addition to the ritual visit of the Innovation Camp, they met the technicians of the Colour lab, Performance lab and R&D lab: in particular with Nazzareno Asciutti they applied some special effects.  We also organised a visit to the LUBE Group headquarters in Passo di Treia.

We hope that these young wood technicians have received useful suggestions for embarking on their professional career in the fascinating wood-furniture industry with passion.

We would like to thank the professors who accompanied them: solid guides to the students with whom we immediately established an important harmony.
