GREEN INNOVATIONS IN WOOD PROTECTION
At the Bisazza Foundation we discussed research and sustainability.
On Thursday 4 October, the Bisazza Foundation in Montecchio Maggiore, in the province of Vicenza – Italy, hosted the seminar "Green innovations in wood protection" promoted by ICA Academy, the accredited training school of ICA Group.
In this gorgeous setting, we presented the first bio-based coating for wood to an audience of architects. This is the result of three years of testing and experimentation by ICA Group’s R&D laboratory.
The seminar began with a lectio magistralis held by the architects Massimo Alvisi and Junko Kirimoto who, thanks to the experience gained alongside Renzo Piano and Massimiliano Fuksas, are standing out on the market for their ability to take care of the client, before the project, being involved in all interior design stages, from the initial concept to the on-site project management based on sustainability and respect for the environment.
The seminar was organized in collaboration with the Italian Association of Licensed Architects, Planners, Landscape Designers and Curators and granted 4 training credits.
